This 2-pc. set includes a serrated spreader and a sandwich board. The saw-like scallops of the spreader cut easily through the tough skins of tomatoes as well as bread. Its oval shape is perfect for spreading. The Classic Black knife from Wusthof features a high-carbon stainless steel blade, hardened to maintain a sharp edge, with a full tang that provides perfect balance. The extremely durable, impact-resistant polypropylene handle is buffed and polished by hand, is moisture- and food acid-resistant and is virtually indestructible. The seamless fit between handle, bolster and full-tang is totally hygienic. An invaluable asset to any kitchen, the knife is made in Solingen, Germany, where each piece is hand-forged in 38 manufacturing steps by skilled craftsmen.
